Services and How I Work

A More Connected Approach to Your Health

Health rarely exists in separate boxes. Hormones can influence sleep and mood. Stress can affect digestion, blood sugar and thyroid function. Gut health can influence nutrient status, inflammation and how we feel every day.

Yet healthcare is often divided among different specialists, leaving you to figure out how all the pieces fit together.

My role is to help you connect those dots.

Using an integrative and functional medicine approach, I take the time to understand your health history, symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, current medical care and health data. Together, we identify areas that may deserve a closer look, build a better understanding of what may be influencing how you feel, and create realistic strategies to support your health.

When additional medical evaluation or testing may be helpful, I can also help you prepare for those conversations and collaborate with your healthcare providers so that your care feels more connected—not fragmented.

Areas I Support
  • Perimenopause & Menopause
Education and individualized support to help you navigate the physical and emotional changes of perimenopause and menopause. We look beyond hormones alone, considering how nutrition, stress, sleep, thyroid health, metabolic health and lifestyle may be influencing how you feel.
  • Gut & Digestive Health
Support for concerns such as bloating, constipation, irregular bowel habits and food sensitivities. We explore nutrition, digestive function, microbiome health and lifestyle factors, with education around specialty testing when appropriate.
  • Stress & Nervous System Health
Chronic stress can affect far more than how stressed you feel. We explore sleep, energy, nervous system regulation, stress physiology and the HPA axis—and how these may intersect with hormones, digestion, thyroid and metabolic health.
  • Metabolic & Thyroid Health
Education and support around blood sugar regulation, insulin resistance, thyroid health, energy, body composition and healthy aging—with an emphasis on understanding how these systems interact rather than viewing them in isolation.
  • Nutrition & Lifestyle
Personalized nutrition, movement, sleep and lifestyle strategies based on your health goals and what is realistic for your life. The goal isn’t perfection or another restrictive plan—it’s identifying the changes that are most meaningful for you.
  • Lab Education & Care Coordination Understand the why behind your health data. Being told that your labs are “normal” does not always mean you feel well, that underlying concerns have been fully explored, or that your results reflect what is optimal for you. I provide education around conventional and specialty testing, help you understand the difference between standard reference ranges and optimal health considerations, identify labs or areas of evaluation worth discussing with your physician, and help you prepare informed questions for your medical appointments. When appropriate, I collaborate with your healthcare providers to help connect the dots and support a more coordinated approach to your care.
  • Functional & Specialty Testing When appropriate, functional and specialty testing can provide additional information to help you better understand different aspects of your health. I offer access to a variety of testing options, including assessments related to gut and digestive health, hormones, stress physiology, nutrient status and metabolic health.
  • Testing is never one-size-fits-all. We’ll discuss what information a test may provide, its limitations, cost and whether it makes sense based on your individual goals before deciding whether it’s worth pursuing.
  • When testing is completed, I provide education around the results and help you identify relevant questions, next steps or areas to discuss with your physician or other members of your healthcare team

My goal is to help bridge the gap between the health information you’re receiving and knowing what to actually do with it.

What Working Together Looks Like

Most of my clients don’t come to me with just one concern.

You may be navigating changing hormones, digestive symptoms, fatigue, sleep issues, thyroid concerns, stress, changes in weight or body composition—or simply the frustrating feeling that you don’t feel like yourself anymore.

You may also have labs from your primary care physician, recommendations from your OB-GYN, supplements you’ve accumulated over the years and advice from several different practitioners that doesn’t always seem to connect.

This is where I come in.

I take the time to understand the whole picture and help you organize the pieces. We look at your health history, symptoms, nutrition, lifestyle, stress, sleep, health data and current medical care to identify priorities and determine where additional education, support or conversations with your healthcare providers may be helpful.

I can help you understand the purpose behind different labs and testing, identify questions or testing to discuss with your physicians, prepare for medical appointments and, when appropriate, collaborate with members of your healthcare team.

When additional medical or therapeutic support may be beneficial, I can also help connect clients with trusted physicians, specialists and other healthcare professionals within my professional network.

Then we turn what we’ve learned into realistic nutrition, lifestyle and wellness strategies that fit your life.

How To Get Started
Step 1: Complimentary Discovery Call | 10–15 Minutes

We’ll briefly discuss what you’re looking for support with, how I work and whether my approach feels like a good fit for your needs. This is also an opportunity for me to learn more about what you’re experiencing and determine whether I’m the right person to support you. There is no obligation to move forward.

Step 2: Initial Consultation | 60–120 Minutes

We’ll take a comprehensive look at your health history, current concerns, nutrition and lifestyle, goals, relevant medical history and available lab information.

Because you’ll complete your health history and assessment forms in advance, we can use our time together to begin connecting the pieces, identify priorities and determine meaningful next steps.

Step 3: Ongoing Health Coaching | 60 Minutes

Follow-up sessions give us the opportunity to assess what’s working, discuss challenges and successes, review new information, adjust priorities and continue building on your progress.

Most new clients benefit from meeting approximately once a month for the first three months to build momentum. From there, sessions can become less frequent as you gain confidence and eventually no longer need regular coaching.

Brief Follow-Up Sessions | Up to 30 Minutes

For established clients who need focused support around a specific question, concern or previously discussed area.

All individual health coaching appointments are currently held virtually through my secure health platform.

In-person pantry makeovers, grocery store tours, workshops and other services may be available locally.

Insurance & Payment

I am an out-of-network provider and do not participate with insurance companies. This allows me to provide highly personalized care, longer sessions, and an individualized approach without the limitations of an insurance-based model.

Payment is due at the time of service. Depending on your plan, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement. I recommend contacting your insurance company directly to understand your specific benefits and coverage.

HSA or FSA funds may also be eligible for use toward services. Please check with your plan administrator for details.

A Note About Functional & Specialty Testing

Certain specialty laboratory testing is facilitated through third-party laboratory platforms and, when required, ordered through an independent licensed clinician. Testing is used for educational purposes within my health coaching services and does not replace medical diagnosis or treatment.
